FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The festival is held at William G. Lake Farm County Park, nestled on the shore of beautiful Lake Waubesa within the Capital Springs Recreation Area.

    When using a map app use the address 4331 Libby Road, Madison WI, 53711. There will be directional signs as you approach the event location. There will be free parking, a free shuttle from downtown, and the park is an easy bike ride from downtown Madison, located just off of the Lower Yahara River Trail.   • Absolutely not! Please come enjoy what the fest has to offer, regardless of whether you are vegan.

  • Yes, dogs are allowed at our event and in Dane County Parks. More information can be found on the Dane County Parks Website

    A dog permit is required for all dogs, including service animals. Owners/handlers are responsible for the actions of their dog and are liable under Wisconsin State Statute 174.02(1) for injuries caused by their dog.

    This is a busy festival event that has young attendees and the possibility of loud noises. Please be respectful of your dog’s tolerance of these conditions and be aware of those around you.

    Please remember to bring water for your dogs and that shared dishes will not be available to limit the spread of water-borne illness.

    *Dogs left in cars in our parking area will not be tolerated.   

  • Yes, a limited number of accessible parking spots will be found at the festival end of the park.

    Both of the park shelters have accessible bathrooms. The shelter bathrooms will be reserved for people with disabilities, people caring for young children, and emergencies.

    The park is fairly level but weather conditions could make it difficult to traverse in wet conditions. 

  • Most vendors and exhibitors will be taking both cash and credit card, but there is no requirement that they accept both. Internet at the park is limited to cell service so there is the possibility of technical issues.

  • Yes! Vegan means not tested on animals and containing no animal products: flesh, fat, broth, gelatin, egg, dairy, or honey.

  • Yes! If you are unsure about the status of gluten-friendly (no gluten added) versus gluten-free (certified gf) please ask the vendor before making a purchase.
