Madison, Wisconsin has hosted a vegan fest every year since 2011 except for 2020/21 (for Covid Safety). Over the years, the location, name, and directors have changed but the community’s passion for vegan food and animal rights has only grown.
Organized entirely by volunteers, the fest is free to attend and open to the public — vegans and non-vegans alike. In fact, one of our primary goals is to make non-vegans feel welcome, even if they're just curious and don't plan to go vegan. We’re proud to bring the entire Madison community together to enjoy delicious vegan food, hear from engaging speakers, and explore ways to live more compassionately and sustainably.
